Kilmallie

The second of two churches to occupy this site. |St Andrew's Episcopal Church, Fort William replaced the earlier Rosse Chapel which stood from 1817 until the mid 1870's, the earlier building had fallen into a ruinous and dangerous state.

George Baynton Davey is credited as providing most of the funds to demolish the old building and erect the new church. Featuring granite stonework and a slate roof the church was completed to the design of Dr Alexander Ross, of Inverness. Consecrated in 1880 the building sits prominently on the High Street.
