The Rutledge Family Association-The Dodgson Manuscript An excellent and dense family history document from the first half of the nineteenth century. The writer's main interest is the Dodgson family, but mentions many more families in the Longtown/Carlisle area with birth marriage and death details going back to the 1700's. Bewcastle: Cumbria's Border Country There is an index of momnumental inscriptions from St Cuthbert's Church, Bewcastle here. The church has put out a CD containing the full inscriptions
