County Sligo is a county in the west of the Republic of Ireland, which has a strong history of traditional music and well as roots in poetry, with inspiration for much of the poetry written by the poet laureate W. B. Yeats taken from the county. Largely unspoiled countryside overlooked by the Benbulben mountain, County Sligo remains very much a beatiful corner of Ireland.
