Kintail

Last used for worship around 150 years ago Clachan Duich is an ancient site. Acknowledged as being at least 1000 years old, possibly even dating to the eight century, the site hosts the church and burial ground of the MacRae's of Kintail. Although abandoned during the 1850's after being declared unsafe the addition of the nearby World War I Clan MacRae monument serves to highlight the historic significance of the site and surrounding area.
